what does the fox say? A question to be answered? I question that assumption, because the truth of the matter is that what the fox had to say never affected us before, the utterances of the small woodland creatures a blank in our cultural landscape. but on the song plays, asking the question. and i fought it, at first. i stood up on both feet like a man and said no! i will not accept the foxs answer! his truth is a lie! but the song infected me, with its catchy beat and voices that demand a dance, much like a drunk football star on prom night. the song leads, like the football hero, taking me against my will and forcing me to enjoy its company and keeping me in its grasps far after i wish it to end. what does the fox say? it says what it wants, and like a helpless prom queen i am held hostage, waiting for the end of the question.
