what started off as a really awful year is turning out to be one of the best ive ever had, in January I averaged 70-8- hrs no recognition for anything, hardly any support or training and development, very blinkered approach to everything, and to be frank not happy where nursing was going in general - now 10 months on I have my own business which is growing and gives me so much flexibility and recognition for everything I achieve, I am developing and doing training plus a degree is something I have a very deep interest in and also have met loads of amazing people from all walks of life - I spend loads of time with my family, havent missed a single parents evening, meeting, drs apt or after school club (cant remember ever being able to say that) and feel so much more settled and c ontent! my kids smile so much more now, yes its hard some days and yes its hard work too, but working hard part time is way much more fulfilling than working you heart out over full time hrs and not getting anything for it xx so in summary 2014 - I hated you in March now I actually pretty much luv ya to bits xxxxx
