when Casper was on his highest doses of prednisone, he would pee every half hour day and night. before i thought of teaching him to pee in the shower, i would let him out to pee all through the night so we did not get much sleep. he peed so much that even peepads were not enough. his first round of meds for the day were scheduled for early in the morning so i could administer them before leaving for work. some had to be given before meals and some after. so i would give him the medicine and snooze, then serve him breakfast in bed and snooze while he ate, then give him the rest of the medications after he finished. he liked eating in bed. must have been so comfortable to lie in bed and eat. :D you can see the weekly pillbox i used near the bottom of the video frame. it proved very useful in organizing all the different pills for each day. it helped make sure i gave the right meds at the right dosage coz when you are sleep deprived it is very easy to make a mistake. i also had a little chart that i checked off to make sure i gave the meds already.
