when a noble govt intention is being abused by the operators within whom jurisdiction implementation falls, the very govt is expected to act.The govt becomes guilty when it ignores the complaints, cries and protest of the people that elected it.Lagos residents especially motorist hv continually suffered untold hardship @ d hands of a body known as lagos state traffic management authority (LASTMA) This body whose is to help in directing traffic was created by Gov. Tinubu government are so mean and deceptive in thier operations. They dont make themselves visible until a motorist makes a mistake only for them to surface from nowhere and commandere d vehicle to one side of d road & then negotiations starts.thier primary interest is to see that mistakes or offences re committed rather than assist motorists prevent such mistakes. A case in point is the two adjoining roads @ d round-about descending from d new overhead bridge at Cele(ijesha-side) Motorist descending d bridge from okota side most times make d mistake of going through Ogulano not knowing that descending vehicles & those from d express are prohibited from using d road cos of d one-way rule.many drivers suffer daily @ hands of LASTMA and police hiding @ various angles of d roundabout in collaboration with street urchins irrespective that either deliberately or not there is no signpost to educate or inform road users on the right usage of d road.they capitalize on d vulnerability of motorists to extort money .this goes on in many parts of lagos unabated.for motorists they would rather fall into d hands police than LASTMA because of thier insatiable greed.Pls Governor Fashola do something .
