when you enter a depression, youve already started to go downhill my favorite geology prof used to say that, to help us decipher the elevation markings on topographical maps ive entered a depression, yall been fighting it all week, possibly a bit longer gave in today am showered, not yet breakfasted, not even a bit dressed and you cant make me go to work ill be on site tomorrow to hand over my laptop and gather my lovely office things but, in no way can i handle being there today im not yet to the point where i need to cancel the *entire* world, but i can feel the blackness pulling me closer. i had a number of wonderful things already planned for the upcoming days, and i hope to make them all. but, i think i might not plan anymore for a while ill go to craft night at my beloved starbucks tonight and then on a first date tomorrow at my fave brazillian steak place and then on sat ill trek to new brunswick to plan samhain with my sorely missed druids on monday, ill have a very interesting in person interview for a contract that would mark a significant growth point in my programming career later that night ill wield my canes and paddles with loving care, probably crying along with my squirming partner on tuesday ill visit a long lost friend for sewing and crafting and dinner wed, my brilliant cleaning crew will be here to help me organize my copious and over flowing craft collections so, you know, stuff will happen. i may or may not smile. i plan to get out of bed each day. well see, yall
