whenever we are blessed by God, it is amazing. and I got to thinking about the times when God blesses people with things they never thought theyd have, or that they never expected to receive. like when a couple that has tried so hard to have a child, only to be told by the doctor they never would, suddenly finds themselves expecting twins. or like someone who has battled illness for so long, that it has become a common part of their lives that they dont ever see changing. and they suddenly find themselves, not only healed, but healthy again. or like the drug addict that is so addicted to what they are hooked on, that they dont think they will ever be free. but the Lord gives them the strength to overcome, and now they are clean and sober, and living a new and better life. or even like the employee who is having a horrible day, who recieves kindness and compassion from the boss they thought hated their guts. and it just improves their whole day. it is always amazing, life changing, and uplifting, to have God bless us like that. to give us wonderful gifts we never ever saw ourselves recieving, and had never asked for, but really needed. they are wonderful and they give us so much hope, so much joy, and they remind us that things can be, and will be better. and they are given to us simply because the Lord loves us immeasurably. He wants His children to have the best life can offer. He wants us to be happy and prosper. He wants us to know just how much He loves us. He wants to share that love with us. and if we allow Him to enter our lives, we will find that His love has no limits, His compassion has no end, and the joy He has set before us will last forever. in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, amen.
