who redeems your life from the pit and crowns you with love and compassion. psalm 103:4 (NIV) Redemption is an ongoing process. God has place the Holy Spirit in our lives to work this process in us. We are never perfect, and by Gods grace we are always changing, and becoming better. Many times i think we want this to be an all-in-one thing: God snaps Gods fingers, and we are good to go for the rest of our lives. But it doesnt work that way. When I think I have finally gotten it right, something happens that reminds me I am still a work in progress. Every day we have opportunity to be redeemed and be crowned with love and compassion. Even if the day before didnt go that well, we have a new day to be redeemed and be made new. prayer: God please dont give up on us. Keep working in us so that we may reflect your love and compassion. Amen
