who wants to maybe buy a Høfner from 67 or 68? i bought it and loved it and i just dont use it often enough to keep it and i have a few very big trips coming up that i need to save money for. it features the bass boost mod that Hofner added in the factory to only a few models per year/series. 1 click of a button and a good thick plectrum and youve got the sound of Serge in the 60s. (no lessons required.) as in: this baby recorded like a dream. it looks as though it had a heel repair and there are a few nicks and a sorta deep scratch (pictured) but it intonates well, is in remarkable shape for a nearly 50 yr old instrument. it has a hard case. i paid the £equivalent of about $1330 but in view of current market and the holiday season im prepared to except less. so help yourself to a great bass and help me get to San Francisco and then Haiti. listin here before Craigslist and Reverb...
