without a doubt 2008 Ronaldo was at his peak, he was by far the best in the world and deservedly that won him the ballon dor. At 19yrs old Messi became a force to reckoned with. 4 ballon dors now he hasnt looked back and remains growing. Messi brings alot more to the game then goals, making assists and the link up play with his teammates. Since Ronaldo joined Real he has only won 3 major cups, Messi 12. CR7 brought out de best out of Messi, since he joined real Messi has grown to be in a class of his own. He will forever be the best unless Ronaldo moves out of spain and seeks praise else where. Haters will hate, but denial wont let u see reality of what the world has been witnessing in the last four years from Messi. ~CP
