worked a double today, on 3 hrs sleep - i was so tired driving to a new clients house this morning - way in the country - thinking omg how will i make it thru this day if i am this tired & it has barely started - i am a couple miles from her home - desolate country road, no cars around - when i pass a pasture - & saw the prettiest black cows, grazing by the fenced road - i stopped my car, opened my window - and had an audience as i talked baby talk with them, they were very interested & hung on my every compliment & sweet nothing - pretty cows, oh my, look at how beautiful you are & what a pretty baby you have there - they were almost close enough to my car to pet them - alas, work called & i very sadly said my goodbyes........knowing their fate that was confirmed when my client told me the farmer raises them, gets them fat, then sells them to the slaughterhouse.......say hello to the stories of the animals behind your MEAT.........please stop eating my friends!!
