would love to be riding the Blue Ridge right now. l ast year at this time i was getting neuropathy tests. this year, it dermo surgery and simi-annual upper endoscopy (0645 tomrrowow). if not for the suture removal scheduled for Thursday, i would head up there except i have the Waldo reunion on the weekend. i didnt retire to be this busy to keep me from spur of the moment things. problem is the leaf-changing season only happens for a short period of time each year and i am not about to go in November unless we get some unusual warm weather -- -- oh wait, maybe global warming will kick in! friends, please send up prayers for warm weather please :-) oh wait again, the constitution provides the right to pursue happiness. maybe Obama can provide some tax-payer program for veteran bikers who wish to right the Blue Ridge at this time -- free you know, some therapeutic program. im sure Obama, Reid, and Pelosi could come up with something.
