wow this bring back memories...........small story > I remember living in Clovis, ca with my brother and mom and dad,I was very young then (elementary school time)...... had a friend (we went to school together)who lived across the street her brother went to vietnam right out of high school (drafted) she was proud of her brother, we had a party for him before he left.....them 8 months later this car showed up and men in army uniforms went to the door....I was outside on the front lawn with my little brother (Brent)watching and playing.... she ran across the street to me crying and said ....... he got shot and died............ the world changed for me as a little girl that day...I knew what war was and the price.......... I wore the bracelets and had all the stickers and read the stories and watched the news asked questions to my mom and dad all the time...until we pulled out and after I always talked to my dad about this time of history....... just some thoughts about the past.............I will never forget that day never.......
