wow. what a cloud of witnesses surround my life. A mom and Dad that covered me daily with prayer, love and correction. A mom and Dad that did not just tell me how to live a Godly life but showed me by example. A mom and Dad that "practiced Holiness unto the Lord not just in word but in deed. A pastor, Rev. James Gardner, who watched over all of the teens in the church (which were many) with a Godly watchful eye. He never failed to show correction but like my parents he sprinkled it with love. Thank God, for those that rooted me and grounded me in God because when I went out on my own at the age of 18 I saw the real world and it was not pretty but having been rooted and grounded in God in my youth, I was not deceived by the tricks of satan. "Train up a child in the way he should go and when he is old, he will not depart from it.: proverbs 22:6
