written by Arshad Hussain(my own views regarding the topic mentioned below) Man was born free, but he is in chains everywhere. Man comes to this world with utmost freedom. he is born with certain credentials and natural proclivities i.e having own avenues of acting and performing tasks; assuming the prerogative to be immersed by his own existential inner capacity to attain truth; possessing instincts to decide whether to act or not, keeping in mind the situation concerned; above all man has the authority to enjoy mental independence bestowed by the eternity given the fact that 'man is not born with bandages. but he is doomed to this condition by so called religion based on mere superstitions( better be named confinement or imprisonment), entangled by intellectual subordination, prevented not to use personal capabilities, forced to have inherited ideology, satisfied by mythological explanations thus making him mentally corrupt and physically idle. unfortunately, man is persuaded to be hidden by wearing additional layers that not only intercepts his insight but also curbs him to explore his unseen reserves of intellect for the fear that he would be condemned and criticized by and large. intelligence when tamed, fades with the course of time and at some point man looses his self, his being which is a gift of the divinity. then the man is no more than a robot, a machine bereft of decisiveness and operated at the hands of others. As the matter of fact, God creates everything keeping in evolution, the priority. In accordance with the evolution every man is born, seconds after another, brings ,with itself, a new and never-the-same path to cope with the life. To put it in other words, he brings a ideology which never existed before. But he is treated inversely. He is said to have a doctrinaire approach , quite the same as believed and practiced by his elders. He is instructed no to go against particular dogma by asking hard-hitting questions and using reason. Thats what I call an additional layer and it can be dubbed ideological inheritance, equals‘’ a strong chain to curb probing into something’’. Another chain that Man is ensnared with is intellectual subordination. Our education system is designed to stuff things into mind making it almost likely to burst. Past dominates our way of dealing with Today due the very established worn-out pattern of education in which parroting the material is thought be a great deal. A person is not deemed exceptional unless he remembers the potentialities of other great ones, tending to judge things as specified by others leaving and forgetting his own instinct to be relied at last. Educational parroting is kept while instinctive intellect is ignored. Human is in chains from time immemorial, he has surrounded himself in structured myths to lead life from time to time, making some stories and incline to abide by all those rubbish. Mythological approach towards life leads to mental helplessness and dependence which means to carve out reasons in the aftermath of any occurrence whether good or bad. In the consequence man considers his efforts meaningless and insignificant and depends totally upon the conceptual myth which in turn degrades the dignity of man and throws him on the verge of rational decline and intellectual bankruptcy. Society faces serious repercussions in the wake of all those aforementioned traps; some are enumerated below to name the few: 1. Failure in areas of contemporary practical phase of life i.e rejecting laws of adaptability. 2. Lack of methodological reasoning (ijtihad) in solving complicated issues. 3. Ideological disputes on the difference of mythologies. 4. Rejection of modern technology deeming it to be against religion. 5. Dearth of human resource. 6. Reluctance in accepting and adjusting diverse cultural manifestations. A society can not grow rich unless its individuals are released from those aforementioned chains.
