TOPIC:- YOUR EFFORTS CANT RESOLVE IT TEXT:- PSALM 46:10 Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth! , its another Sabbath and I hope youre preparing to go and worship God most High through your local assembly this morning? Do not be discouraged for any reason, the Bible also encourages punctuality in the house of God. This morning, God want us to consider a basic text. Our text this morning says Be still and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations.... One way or the other, you and I have once or presently gotten to a stage whereby we complain bitterly and lament further that we can no longer take this and that. Certainly! But despite how much we tried to make things right, well figure that yet, our efforts isnt helping it. Yes! They cant help because there is a master who holds the solution to every issues of life. His name is Jesus and He has summoned us all this morning, now Hes telling you that having tried your best and your best seem to be the worst, all you need to do is to be still for the battle isnt yours, its of the Lord, He knows, He sees, He cares and He is working on it. Sit back and stop applying effort, be still early in the morning, read Psalm 46:5 and acknowledge the presence of God in the situation of your life. Be still and just pray, Be still and just praise, Be still and allow God to take full control of it all. He (God) made you and He know where things are wrong, so be still while your creator re- arranges that wound in your life, He has the reset button and He is ready to pull things back to normal, all you need do is just Be still! And thereafter, there is need to Acknowledge Him as God, then that long awaited blessing will locate you in no time. ***Prayer:- Lord God, I surrender it all to you and acknowledge the fact that you are God, Im patient and I wait upon the God of my salvation, please take control and make way for me in my wilderness, fight my battles and reset all things to normal in Jesus Name*** amen
