y family celebrates (or has celebrated) several milestones this year. Twin grandsons Tate and Max celebrated their fifth birthday back in the fall and my sweet husband, JR turned 60. In January my Ana celebrated her 30th birthday and Jessica had her 35th birthday. Later in the year I will be, dare I say it, 60 (Wow). JR and I seemed to do everything important on a 5 year increments, lol. March 8, 1974 was the big day that started everything, we eloped to Sparta, NC. Tomorrow my husband and best friend celebrate our 40th anniversary. How amazing is that? And people said it would not last, HA! I. am so proud to be married to such a good man. We have had an amazing journey together. While life has had its up and downs, we have loved every single second we have been together. We have a good life filled with wonderful daughters, sons-in-law, grandchildren, friends and so much love. There has never been any dull moments in the Boothe family. We are certainly blessed beyond measure and I man so thankful. We did not have a big wedding but we had the most awesome elopement attended by two of the most special people, Don and Lorraine Dean. I hold very special memories of that beautiful Friday in Sparta. We are not doing anything special because of the weather and the fact my girls life to far away. But are always with us and really what else matters? We will do something later when it is warm and convenient. Between Friends will be closed tomorrow, sorry for the inconvenience. Dinner tonight at Fisher and Co, a movie with my love and a quiet evening at home. Tomorrow we will dine at our favorite spot and see what we can find to do. Life is soooooo sweet and absolutely perfect.
