ya know.....I learned some really cool things this weekend. CEMENT BOARD goes down before you start to lay ceramic tile. Then the mortar but only a bit at a time so it doesnt dry..... Lay a few tiles (strategically planned out and measured for success). More mortar and more cer tiles placing T thingies in between to allow them to dry perfectly spaced. DRY over night or less. Remove T thingies and fill cracks with GROUT. Wipe with a grout sponge damp NOT real wet *but dont dig in the cracks (when clean start using a T shirt to buff off the haze. Stand back and Admire.
