yes its true...... { Official Announcement to all my Supporters & Clients } It is with great sadness that I officially announce to you all today, that due to circumstances beyond my control, I will no longer be taking on any new business, effective immediately and for the undetermined foreseeable future. For the last 5 years, I have had the great pleasure of working with many wonderful & amazing families, who have all allowed me the privilege of capturing their precious memories for them. Thank you for giving me the gift of doing what I love so much. It has however been a difficult journey for me, starting out with only a few thousand dollars, which bought be some second hand equipment, and thus I began shooting work for family and friends as I built my business to where it is now. Unfortunately, the current economic climate and personal circumstances have lead me to make this incredibly difficult decision. The truth is that I have decided that it is time for me to focus on other areas of my life, things which for the last 10+ years, I have put on the top shelf while I worked on my career, things that I cant do while tied to a professional practice, like traveling, spending quality time with my family & close friends, and perhaps one day (when mr.right comes along ), starting a family of my own. Truth is, that even if Mr.right did come along, I would never have enough time to devote to building a relationship or a family while I have been working 60+ hours a week, between my day job and my business. It is now time for me to inject myself back into the full-time work force for a while and earn some of that stuff called money everyone keeps taking about, without the added expense of keeping a business running, so I can save for some of these things that I want for myself in the future. But if youve got a shoot booked with me or a gift voucher, dont panic! Youll be hearing from me personally ASAP, if you havent already, your session/booking has NOT been cancelled, but I do ask that you contact me if you have ANY questions or concerns, as well as to lock a time in within the next 6 months. Its been an amazing 5 years, but its also been 5 years without a holiday or any other break to take a breather! Some of you might understand how hard running a business is and its now time for me to move on to new challenges. Thank you to all of my awesome clients, some of you who have become very good friends to me, who have made this a business worth being in for so long! Youre gorgeous & amazing all of you! In particular, I have much love and thanks for the following people who have been there for me every step of the way (in no particular order): Amy Patterson, Andrea Harris, Shandi Sanson, Liz-anne Barbaro, Vanessa Langford, Sarah Brazel, Trevor Rogers, Rika Cable, Maria LaPietra, Maria Jones, Brittany Niewdach, Lauren DaCosta, Tiffany Phillips, Cinamon Laughton, Calixta Cheers....and of course, my Mum, Cecilia Jonker. If I have forgotten anyone, please forgive my memory! Ill miss you, but I wont miss the hours and the sleepless night in front of a computer.
