yes suicide is selfish. before you chew my head off, let me explain. Does selfish nessesarily imply an immoral desicion? To consider ones own pain and feelings as important is bad? When someone is depressed all they think about is ending the pain. one could argue that if one has a 3 year old dependent on them and they killed themselves, leaving noone for the child, then one could say that it was immoral. But if a man diagnosed with a terminal disease ends their life in the interest of preventing their own suffering, the perspective changes. suicide is not as cut and dry as one would originally think.
