yesterday I wrote that it was a weird day. As today, I sit behind my desk, cleaning, scanning, shredding, - and double checking-- it darned on me. I HAVE DONE THIS! I created an organization to help others, in particular women and children in AFRICA -- since ..Dec 2000. AND this was all ordained by GOD! not me. GOD gave me the strength and knowledge ( because I surely didnt know what to do on my own) -- today nearly 15 years later-- I am heading back to the US- to deal with medical issues - and frightened .. but I look around- and I say- THIS IS NOT yours PAT! I leave behind a staff of strong people Ghanaians, Bermudians, Germans, -- to keep the ball rolling in my absence- and now I change my sentiments from feeling weird to feeling PROUD-- that I have created not just a social intervention center- but a career for many- and an opportunity for many to shine..
