I am writing this today with the hopes that some of those involved in this Syria debate might actually take a step back and listen. The only reason that the people of this country have not already risen up against our federal government is simply because we continue to hope and pray that common sense will prevail. But there are only so many “red lines” that our own elected officials can cross before we will be left with no alternative. First let’s look at the legal definition of TREASON. What is treason? Article III Section 3 of The Constitution defines it as follows: Treason against the United States, shall consist only in levying War against them, or in adhering to their Enemies, giving them Aid and Comfort. No Person shall be convicted of Treason unless on the Testimony of two Witnesses to the same overt Act, or on Confession in open Court. The Congress shall have Power to declare the Punishment of Treason, but no Attainder of Treason shall work Corruption of Blood, or Forfeiture except during the Life of the Person attainted. So with due respect I ask you… Is Al Qaeda still America’s enemy? I would certainly argue that the answer is “yes.” The war on terror is not over despite the claims of Barack Obama. What about the attack on the U.S. Diplomatic Mission in Benghazi? At this point it has been proven that this act was carried out by associates of Al Qaeda. It does not seem like the war on terror is over. It is just useless rhetoric from the mouth of Obama. As we head into this Syrian conflict, many American service men and women are opening their mouths and objecting. I don’t think that our elected servants are taking the content of these objections seriously and that’s a shame. Think about it. Soldiers follow orders. That’s what they do. For them to actually open their mouths and object to orders it takes something very big. Syria is that big. Whether we can afford to join this war or whether it serves any diplomatic interest with Arab nations is not the point. It does not even matter which side launched the attack, though opinions certainly differ. You can NEVER aid an enemy of the American people without it being a clear act of TREASON. You don’t have to be a D.C. attorney or Supreme Court Justice to understand this. You can not justify TREASON by calling it a “humanitarian effort.” The law is the law. Both sides have committed their share of humanitarian violations. Here are just a few from the side which we are intent on supporting: ◾How about chaining a toddler to a railing to make her watch her parents executed? ◾What about beheading a priest in the name of Allah? ◾Can you believe these Syrian Rebels recently beheaded 24 innocent people including a 5 1/2 week old baby? ◾What about the proud Syrian Rebel who felt compelled to bite into his enemy’s heart? This is not a kinder and gentler Al Qaeda. Just because John McCain says so it doesn’t make it the truth. America has seen the true colors of Mr. McCain. So today I am just the messenger. We all expect this to pass the senate and are hopeful that it will be rejected in the house. But we also know that John Kerry has hinted that it may not matter. He has hinted that Obama may act with or without congressional approval. So where does that leave us? I am not calling for any civil war. I am not a leader of the American people, but I am one of them. I talk to them on a daily basis and I understand what they are thinking. Every single day we are getting closer and closer to someone deciding to rise against this government with more than words. People are just waiting for an excuse to start shooting. There aren’t many of us that want to be the person to fire that first shot, but there are millions who are waiting for it to be fired. I call for nothing. I organize nothing. But, if you don’t think there are private militias growing more anxious every day, you are sadly mistaken. Our government calls them potential terrorists. I call them Americans. Why? Because these are not the real terrorists. These are people who are sick and tired of watching this country fund the real terrorists, and there is only so much more they can take. This is an insult to every single American who was effected by the events of 9/11. It is an insult to every American family who suffered loss in Iraq or Afghanistan. It is an insult to everyone who loves The Constitution and loves America. I make no threats today. I am just a Patriotic American who knows that the time for talk is quickly passing. I will say this… If the powder keg explodes in America I will be on the side of justice. There are 535 key figures in Washington D.C. that will have a say in this and each one of them could potentially vote with a conscience of treason. If enough of them do then World War III may not be our only worry. We may see Americans killing each other in a fight for freedom. This is not a Republican/Democrat thing. This is an American thing. There are plenty of bad seeds on both sides of the aisle. So what is it going to be? You can only push people so far. What the government sees as weakness, I see as a lot of good people who were taught to “turn the other cheek” when possible. Good people are human too and they are getting to the point where they may no longer be able to make that decision. This is not a slight anger that will pass. This is a virally growing, festering rage that runs rampant through a very large sub-culture of America. We call ourselves Patriots. You call us terrorists. Sometimes differences of opinion have to be settled on the field of battle. I pray that common sense prevails and this is not one of those times. Keep pushing us and you might be surprised that one day we will actually push back. This is our country and you work for us. Votes for TREASON are not acceptable and could very well be seen as a declaration of war against the American people. That’s not a threat. It’s a fact. BEFORE WAR ALL AMERICA MUST SEE THIS!
