you might bunk your regular cola (for the fear of the calories) - TopicsExpress

you might bunk your regular cola (for the fear of the calories) and adopt either of the zero-calorie colas available in the market but are they really a healthier substitute? regular colas (coca-cola for example) use HFCS (high fructose corn syrup) and diet colas use aspartame (diet coke for example)! while both have been classified as GRAS (generally regarded as safe) by the FDA (food and drug administration) they have adverse affects as well! HFCS is a high calorie sugar substitute and aspartame with zero calories will make you eat more! the best thing is to avoid them both and go for milk or water!
