I might even punch someone in the face and lose my perspectiveđ. Did you know that three of the worlds top ten richest people are the Walton family who own the shares of Walmart ( Asda to us) but Walmart wont give their employees a 1% payrise or let them unionise? Its not a happy lets slash down the prices for customers day. It should be called Greedy corporate capitalism Friday. Although we cant be perfect and always find an independent business to support. We need to be aware of how days like this only support these super companies and reduce the free market. Before you get in a frenzy about that cheap tele think about the fact that workers in factories in china who supply Walmart and Asda etc work 98 hour weeks in sweatshops to meet demand. Everyone likes a bargain of course we do but are we really benefitting in the long run? Or are we just being exploited in a similar fashion to the Chinese workers but in a later stage of the money making process? Remember that these material goods should come secondary to the action you take to be be a kind and considerate person. Some of these fights on Black Friday, its as if they are fighting over food in a famine or something. Its difficult to remember our responsibility when times are hard, its easy to feel instant satisfaction of a cheap product but do you need it? Equality is the way forward for longevity purposes, not spoon feeding the rich our money.
