youtube/watch?v=ENtL_li4GbE I spent a few hours this past Saturday at a casino for my mother-in-law’s birthday. While I was walking around and looking at the people and their expressions the Lord laid on my heart that many of these people’s hope is in gaining riches by hitting that jackpot…possibly thinking to themselves, then I will be happy. I saw this one lady, after hitting the button to begin the rolling of the wheels in the slots, crossed both of her fingers and chant “come on, come on”. I confess, starting my day and knowing where we was heading that afternoon, I had thoughts that if I could only hit a big one then I could do this and that. This morning I encourage you to do a self-examination and ask yourself where is my hope today. Please take a moment to listen intently to this song, “In Christ Alone”.
