youtube/watch?v=cYYeM_t6b5c I wanted to post the accompanying video out of respect for the passing of Jack Bruce this past Saturday. When you are part of a 3 piece band and your guitar player is one of the best 5 or so guitarists ever to spend time on this planet, its no surprise that said guitar player is gonna get the lions share of the attention. However, in truth, Jack Bruce was the driving force behind Cream and what the band was about. He wrote the vast majority of their material, was their chief arranger and handled all the detail stuff regarding recordings and tours the other 2 didnt want any part of. This song/video was, to my knowledge and/or belief, the last time these 3 ever played together and, fittingly, it is the Jack Bruce composition (along with lyricist, Peter Brown) that is, probably, the song most people think of when Jack Bruces name is mentioned. Stay tuned after the tune is finished to hear brief interviews from Baker, Bruce and Clapton with Jack addressing his mortality. Without further ado...Cream and Sunshine of Your Love.
