It was a fun gig and afterward Miki found me in the dressing room and said That was good. I said Thanks. There was a beat. She said Youre cute. I blushed and that was the end of that. Bis were also on the bill. Utterly humorless peeps. Their singer Manda Rin (?) seemed to be a 30 year old dressed as a ten year old. backstage she had a skateboard under her arm. Their rider was M&Ms and smarties. Attempting jollity I asked if she had come all the way on her skateboard. She furrowed her brow, looked disgusted and said Of course not! I came on the bus like everybody else! Some months later Jack were booked to tour Europe with Lush but it was cancelled the day before when their drummer hung himself.
