COSTO DEL PROYECTO/ESTANCIA CON COMIDA Y ALOJAMIENTO: 0 EURO REQUISITOS: MUCHA MOTIVACIÓN :D NOMBRE DEL PROYECTO: LA BRIDOIRE CODE: JR13/226 COUNTRY: France DATES: 8.9.2013 - 22.9.2013 THEME: renovation DESCRIPTION This is with pleasure that Jeunesse et Reconstruction is setting up a second international workcamp in partnership with the village of La Bridoire, in Savoy. The village has about 1200 inhabitants, and is located near the Aiguebelette lake, between Lyon and Chambéry. La Bridoire is in a touristic area, and is thus used to exchanges with foreigners, but it has chosen to go further, hosting an international volunteers team. WORK Leaded by the technical staff of the village, you will do diverse renovating works on former wash houses: cleaning up, pulling out the sand, masonry work, roof reparations, paving… The village counts 7 ancient wash houses, that the town council wishes to start enhancing with your help. ACCOMODATION AND FOOD You will be hosted in the gymnasium of the village; WC, showers and kitchen at your disposal there. For sleeping, Jeunesse et Reconstruction provides you with ground mattresses, but please bring your own bed sheet and sleeping bag. Everyone is expected to participate into the domestic corves, cleaning and cooking for the group. We cannot take care of you if you arrive before the starting date of the camp, hosting is therefore possible at your own expenses: hotels in Chambéry, rural bed and breakfast at la Bridoire or camping in Lépin le Lac. LOCATION AND LEISURE La Bridoire is a village in the beginnings of the Savoy region, at 268m high. Many trekking paths offer nice walks around, allowing the discovery of the Grenand gorges (pedagogical treks). The village is located at the doors of the natural park of Chartreuse. The region is thus rich of nature activities and the volunteers will appreciate the Savoy region thanks to walks and trekking. Possible Leisure in the region : visit of Chambéry or Lyon, canoe and pedal boat on the lake, museum of Lépin about the fauna and flora of the lake (and registered as a Sensitive Natural Space), meetings with the inhabitants (shared dinners and lunch, welcome evening, common activities),trekking in the mountains around (L’Epine especially). more info on lac-aiguebelette/ and on avant-pays-savoyard-tourisme/
