Long, lean and lovely, I might see some Greyhound in her breed mix and she certainly has the docile, laid-back temperament for which theyre known. Shes friendly, soft-mannered and eager for attention yet independent too and just as keen to explore the world outside as she is to be near her human. A good leash walker, Sasha takes care of all her business as we go and greets other dogs with happy friendship, her tiny ears perked in curiosity. Snuggles arent the main event for her but Im treated to some nice stand-up hugs and she very much likes having her head softly pet before trotting off on her next adventure. Sasha sits politely on command, taking treats easily from my hand, and though her nails are unkempt and she could perhaps put on just a little weight, its clear her former owner cared enough to teach her the finer points of good dog etiquette and just as obvious she was a grade-A student! She did not like her food to be touched and said so during her behavior assessment. Sasha performed very well on the handling portion of her behavior assessment and in a loving home under the guidance of experienced parents her behavior around food may be modifiable.
