ԹԱՓՈՒՐ ՊԱՇՏՈՆ ՀԱՅԱՍՏԱՆԻ ԱՄԵՐԻԿՅԱՆ ՀԱՄԱԼՍԱՐԱՆՈՒՄ Position: Operations and Communications Coordinator (OCC), AUA Acopian Center for the Environment Job Location: Yerevan Job Type: Full-Time JOB RESPONSIBILITIES The OCC will work with and support the Director of the Center to: OPERATIONS: 1. Fulfill the administrative requirements of the University (such as completing and submitting travel and expense request and reports, absentee forms, vacation reports, acceptance-transfer acts, etc.), 2. Draft and process agreements and contracts, 3. Build and maintain system for administering contracts, grants, and projects, 4. Manage tasks related to teaching activities, including any certificate programs, 5. Coordinate meetings, lectures, seminars, interviews, conferences, and other public events, 6. Manage supplies and equipment, 7. Perform other administrative and operations tasks necessary for the effective operation of the Center, COMMUNICATIONS: Prepare and disseminate announcements, Prepare press releases, Update AUA ACE website (training will be offered to OCC for this task), Effectively use social media, Regularly disseminate information on ACE related activities to AUA community, Perform other communications tasks as may be deemed necessary. REQUIREMENTS Excellent English and Armenian writing skills; knowledge of Russian a plus. Legal background is a strong plus. Familiarity with social media (Facebook, etc.). Willingness to become familiar and work effectively with requirements of international donor organizations (EU, GiZ, USAID, UN system, etc.). Knowledge of MS Office, esp. Word, Excel, and PowerPoint a requirement. Willingness to travel outside of AUA campus. Willingness to work within teams and interact with a variety of people. Self-directed and with initiative, though understanding the requirements of working in a large organization. High degree of professionalism. Willingness to learn and grow professionally.
