If you believe you meet these requirements and deadlines, please complete the application process at: ieaw.myreviewroom Program Description Founded in 2002, The Initiative To Educate Afghan Women (IEAW) works with colleges, the advocacy community and employers to provide Afghanistan’s future women leaders a US undergraduate education, leadership and social entrepreneurship training as well as internship and permanent placement opportunities in Afghanistan. In addition to full, four-year scholarships, room and board arranged by IEAW with participating schools, all students accepted to the IEAW program are provided round-trip air transportation and transfers from and to Afghanistan each year for four years. IEAW also provides assistance to students accepted to the program with each aspect of the college application, SEVIS and visa applications. Students accepted into the program will receive a Freshman Orientation session in Rhode Island, an annual Intersession in Washington, DC, which includes leadership training as well as assistance with internship and permanent job placement in Afghanistan between academic years and upon graduation for further information please visit website: ieaw.org/apply/
