بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم زكاۃ کا حقدار کون ہے؟ " زكاۃ تو صرف فقراء، مساكين، اور اس پر كام كرنے والے، اور تاليف قلب ميں، اور غلام آزاد كرانے ميں، اور قرض داروں كے ليے، اور اللہ كے راستے ميں، اور مسافروں كے ليے ہے، يہ اللہ تعالى كى طرف سے فرض كردہ ہے، اور اللہ تعالى علم والا اور حكمت والا ہے. (سورۃ التوبۃ - 60 ). یعنی: 1 - فقير وہ شخص ہے جس كے پاس كچھ بھى نہ ہو. 2 - مسكين: وہ شخص ہے جس كے پاس كچھ ہو ليكن وہ اسے كافى نہ ہو. 3 - زكاۃ پر كام كرنے والا ملازم جسے زكاۃ اكٹھا كرنے كا ذمہ دیا گیا ہو. 4 - تاليف قلب كے لیۓ: وہ لوگ ہيں نبى كريم صلى اللہ عليہ وسلم جن كى تاليف قلب كرتے اور اپنى طرف مائل كرتے تا كہ وہ اسلام قبول كر ليں يا ان كا شر دور ہو سكے. 5 - غلام: جو اپنے مالک سے متفق ہو چكے ہوں كہ وہ اتنا مال دے كر آزادى حاصل كر ليں گے. 6 - مقروض: وہ مقروض شخص جو قرض كى ادائيگى سے قاصر ہو. 7 - اللہ تعالى كے راستے ميں: يہ وہ لوگ ہيں جو اللہ تعالى كے راستے ميں جہاد كرتے اور اپنا كام نہیں کر سکتے. 8 - مسافر: يہ وہ اجنبى جس كا زاد راہ ختم ہو چكا ہو، اسے اتنا مال ديا جائے گا جو اس كى ضروريات پورى كرے چاہے وہ غنى اور مالدار ہى كيوں نہ ہو. -=--=====--=-- Who is eligible for Zakaah? “As-Sadaqaat (here it means Zakaat) are only for the Fuqaraa’ (poor), and Al-Masaakeen (the poor) and those employed to collect (the funds); and to attract the hearts of those who have been inclined (towards Islam); and to free the captives; and for those in debt; and for Allaah’s Cause (i.e. for Mujaahidoon — those fighting in a holy battle), and for the wayfarer (a traveller who is cut off from everything)…” [Surah al-Tawbah 9:60] Meaning thereby: 1- The poor (faqeer) means the person who does not have anything. 2- The poor (miskeen)/ destitute means a person who has something, but it is not enough. 3- Those employed to collect zakaat 4- Attracting the hearts of those whose hearts the Prophet (peace be upon him) wanted to soften so that they would become Muslim, or so that he could ward off their evil, or those whose resolve he wanted to strengthen and help them to be steadfast in Islam. 5- The captives refers to slaves who had drawn up a written contract with their masters to purchase their freedom. 6- Those in debt refers to debtors who are unable to pay off their loans. 7- For Allaah’s Cause refers to the soldiers who are devoted to waging jihaad 8- A travelling stranger who is cut off from his wealth; he may be given whatever he needs even if he is rich.
