تعلن شركة المواهب الاردنية عن توفر فرصة العمل التاليه في شركة امريكيه في العراق Job opportunity at American company in Iraq Position : Mechanical Engineer Overview The Mechanical Engineer is responsible for the management of the mechanical building services systems of the project throughout the lifespan of the project. Essential Functions The essential functions of the Mechanical Engineer are as follows: 1. Review design reports, drawings, specifications, and contract documents and prepare design review reports during the design phase of the project. 2. Ensure that the designs conform to international standards related to the mechanical services requirements. 3. Suggest ways to improve the efficiency of the designs in terms of performance, cost and sustainability. 4. Reply to technical RFI’s raised by the project consultant and advise the client on mechanical related issues during the design phase of the project. 5. Attend technical meetings with the project consultant’s, client, operator, local authorities and specialized system vendors and offer their expert opinion/advice. 6. Coordinate the design phase of the project and monitor the progress in terms of contract deliverables, content of the deliverables and ensure a timely completion of the design phase meeting the client’s expectations. 7. Review and comment on the final design/tender documents before they are issued for tender and ensure that these meet the client’s design intent and expectations and ensure the project consultant’s has included all contract deliverables for the contractors to prepare a comprehensive and accurate tender for the project. 8. Review technical submittals, construction drawings and advise on technical and contractual RFI’s related to the mechanical systems during construction. 9. Work closely with the project management team and assist/advise other PM discipline engineers, cost control specialist and planner in the preparation of reports. 10. Represent the client during the construction phase and attend project construction site meetings and prepare reports or advice the client and contractor on mechanical issues. 11. Monitor the construction phase in terms progress, quality of installation, adherence to the contract drawings and specifications and coordinate with the project consultant’s for all issues related to the mechanical systems/installation. Prepare quality assurance reports related to the mechanical installation for the Engineering (Technical) Manager. 12. Prepare reports for the Engineering (Technical) Manager with regards to the progress, quality of installation and adherence to the contract drawings, specifications and conditions of the mechanical works. 13. Ensure a timely completion of the project and a successful testing, start up and commissioning of all the mechanical systems. 14. Coordinate and supervise the hand-over of the completed project to the client as per contract requirements and client’s expectations. 15. On the job training and mentoring of Client personnel is required. Minimum Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (Building Services) from an accredited four-year college or university. • The ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations, Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers and clients. • 7 – 10 years of progressive experience in mechanical building services with exposure to both design consultancy and field supervisory aspects. • Experience in the design, installation and project management of mechanical services including HVAC, Plumbing, Fire Protection and Specialized Mechanical Systems.
