تعلن شركة المواهب الاردنيه للتوظيف عن توفر فرصة العمل التاليه في العراق Job opportunity in Iraq Position Name Engineering Manager Overview The Engineering Manager will work in a Project Management environment where the main goal is to represent clients in managing projects from planning stage to construction completion. The Engineering Manager position will be responsible for all Utilities Infrastructure, Roads and Landscape works, as well as the Control Systems for Mechanical and Electrical Equipment. Essential Functions The essential functions of the Engineering Manager are as follows: 1. Uphold the client’s interests as their representative on the project. 2. Supervise Civil Engineer, Structural Engineer, other junior engineers and administration staff, as required. 3. Perform technical review of various project design and construction documents including construction drawings, specifications, calculations, reports, cost estimates, contracts, variations in design, contractor’s shop drawings, material, qualification, method statement and other submittals. 4. Ensure design follows latest international and local codes and standards. 5. Ensure coordination of the project’s related documents with other disciplines including structural, mechanical and electrical. 6. Conduct system analysis and comparisons (value engineering) with regard to economical and functional considerations. 7. Perform Quality Assurance and Quality Control functions. 8. Contact utility authorities for confirmation of availability, coordination of service entry points, and confirming facilities required for obtaining service from the utility. 9. Coordinate with design consultants for all issues regarding Civil and Control-Systems works for the project. 10. Coordinate with MEP Manager for all issues related to Control of Electrical and Mechanical equipment. 11. Ensure construction follows design documents and specifications and report non-conformances. 12. Participate in evaluating designers and contractors claims for variation orders. 13. Handle all site related matters for the Civil and Control-Systems of Mechanical and Electrical equipment during construction acting as the client representative. This would encompass attending project management/project progress meetings, reviewing technical submittals and shop drawings, reviewing and advising on RFIs related to Civil and Control-Systems works. 14. Witness factory and site acceptance tests for pertinent systems. 15. Participate in the start-up, testing and commissioning of all Mechanical and Electrical equipment as related to the Control System and hand-over of the project as per client’s expectations. 16. Understands and is aware of all facets related to construction safety. 17. Process consultant’s and contractor’s payment requisitions, as assigned. 18. Alert the Project Manager with actions that may impact the project quality, budget or schedule. 19. Become actively involved in professional and trade associations and societies. 20. Maintain engineering staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting and training employees. Minimum Requirements Master’s degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited college or university. Professional Engineer’s license in Civil Engineering Professional Engineer’s license in Control Systems Engineering. PMI / PMP or any other equivalent project management certification. LEED Certification – an advantage. The ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from other stakeholders. Ability to lead and inspire staff at all levels of the organization. Commitment to the Company’s productivity and profitability. Superior interpersonal and communication skills are essential. Must have the ability to operate a computer and use Standard company’s CAD, word processing, spreadsheet, presentation and database software.
