تم رفض طلب تأشيرة دخولي كأستاذ زائر إلى بريطانيا لسبب تافه! كنت سأقضي عشرة أيام مهمة للغاية في جامعة كوين ماري في إطار تعاون في مشروع بحثي مشترك! هذا يفسد خطتي البحثية تماما، وبالإضافة فأنني أخسر قيمة تذاكر سفر غير مسترجعة ورسوم تأشيرة مستعجلة وحجز السكن! أعتقد بأنه من الواجب على السفارات البريطانية أن تتحلى بالشجاعة والصدق وأن تضيف التالي على تعليمات التقديم لتأشيراتهم: - لا ننصح المواطنين من دولة اليمن بتقديم طلب تأشيرة المستفز أن جوازي ممتلئ بالتأشيرات لأوروبا وأميركا وحتى بريطانيا نفسها!!!
