ـ الإمامُ الصّادقُ (عَلَيهِ الّسَلامُ) ـ في قولهِ تعالى: «قُلْ إنّ المَوتَ الّذي تَفِرّونَ مِنهُ فإنّهُ مُلاقِيكُم ...» ـ: تَعُدُّ السِّنينَ، ثُمّ تَعُدُّ الشُّهورَ، ثُمّ تَعُدُّ الأيّامَ، ثُمّ تَعُدُّ السّاعاتِ، ثُمّ تَعُدُّ النّفَسَ «فإذا جاءَ أجَلُهُمْ لا يَسْتَأخِرونَ ساعَةً ولا يَسْتَقدِمونَ». Imam al-Sadiq (AS), with regard to Allah’s verse in the Qur’an: "Say, ‘Indeed the death that you flee will indeed encounter you." [Qur’an 62"8], said, ‘Years are counted, then months, then days, then hours, then breaths "When their time comes, they shall not defer it by a single hour nor shall they advance it."[Qur’an 7:34] [al-Kafi, v. 3, p. 262, no. 44]
