The Staff Project Manager is the line manager for Field Project Managers and holds them accountable for profit-and-loss, safety, quality, and productivity. Creates project job cost estimates and work scope/schedules, then revises schedules using Primavera Contractor as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements. Is reporting senior for field project managers, whom execute day-to-day operational aspects of a project and scope. Manages personnel and project assets to optimize JCE financials. Prepares Bid Documents for HQ PM and Field Ops review. Effectively applies project planning methodology and enforces project standards in rigorous daily/weekly/monthly execution rhythms. Tracks and reports project percentage complete on a weekly basis. Manages project budgets for specific projects within established guidelines Ensures CV% meets the needs of GSII while managing Shadow Payroll regulations, employee burdens and company burdens. Verifies timely and accurate invoicing, and monitors receivables for project as well as timely PO reception and input into Power Source. Analyzes project profitability, revenue, margins, bill rates and utilization. Analyzes productivity methods, arranges just in time training while communicating project results globally. Works with the PCM and GE SM to get timely PO’s, accurate project schedule with current TIL’s for JCE creation and bid package preparation.
