The rehabilitation of person with loss of houses and the reconstruction of roads requires immediate tackling due to climatic conditions of UTTRAKHAND. The statement of C.M. about the period of one year does not reflect the means of tackling the problem on war footing to save the people from the onslaught of winter season within three months. With ample manpower under MNREGA and strict technical supervision the reconstruction of roads may be completed with much shorter time schedule. The base GURUDWARA GOVIND GHAT on ALAKNANDA river midway between Rudraprayag and Badrinath provides langar to needy persons round the clock. The other Gurdwara GOVIND DHAM at a greater height of 10000 feet village GHAGHRIYA nearly 2 kms from the HEMKUND and the Valley of Flowers has a sizable storage of blankets. The process to save the HIMALAYA must continue in right earnest. Whenever we forget the Himalaya we were a poor and a slave nation. The devotee of the Himalaya Shri Bahuguna is lying on bed due to pneumonia these days. We have to respect the king of mountains to get his compassionate streams सुखसिंधु, पंचनद, ब्रह्मपुत्र, गंगा, यमुना की अमिय-धार जिस पुण्यभूमि की ओर बही तेरी विगलित करुणा उदार And pray the Himalaya to smile again with beautiful flora and fauna with our long term planning of rejuvenation of forest to make it a crown of our motherland. मेरी जननी के हिम-किरीट! मेरे भारत के दिव्य भाल! मेरे नगपति! मेरे विशाल!
