( জিড্ডু কৃষ্ণমূর্তির লেখা থেকে আমার অনুবাদ) (১) নিজেকে হিন্দু মুসলমান খ্রীষ্ঠান ভারতীয়, আমেরিকান, ইউরোপিয়ান ইত্যাদি হিসাবে দাবী করা মানুষের হিংস্র প্রবৃত্তি। আমি কেন এটা বলছি? কারন এটা দাবী করা মাত্র তুমি পৃথিবীর বাকী লোকেদের সাথে নিজেকে আলাদা করার চেষ্টা করছ। বিশ্বাস, জাতি, দেশ, পরম্পরায় বিশ্বাস করে নিজেকে আলাদা ভাবা এবং দাবী করা, মানুষের মনে হিংস্র প্রবৃত্তির জন্ম দেয়। সুতরাং যে অহিংসার সন্ধানে, হিংসাকে বোঝার চেষ্টা করছে, সে কোন রাজনৈতিক মতবাদ, দেশ, জাতি, ধর্মে বিশ্বাসী হতে পারে না। তাকে সমগ্র মানবজাতির কল্যান কামনায় ভাবতে হবে। [“When you call yourself an Indian or a Muslim or a Christian or a European, or anything else, you are being violent.
