সবাই মানুষের পাশে দাড়ানোর ক্ষমতা রাখে না। খুব মনে পড়ে যায়, হাসান ভাই এবং কয়েকজন মিলে পথশিশুদের ধানমন্ডির বিখ্যাত একটি রেস্টুরেন্টে খাইয়েছিলেন। তারা কব্জি পর্যন্ত হাত ঢুকিয়ে খেয়েছে। হাসান ভাইয়ের সে আনন্দ আমি না দেখেই উপলব্ধি করেছি। ঠোটের কোনে আনন্দ ভেসে উঠা সে মানুষগুলোর পাশে আসলে আমাদের মত মানুষই দাড়াবে। আর কেউ আসুক আর না আসুক, সকল রিপোর্টার ভাইদের অনুরোধ করছি, আমরা মানুষের সেবা করার ব্রত নিয়ে মাঠে নেমেছি। এ প্রচন্ড শীতে তাদের একটু সহায়তা করতে পারলে অনেক ভালো লাগতো। আমার একার পক্ষে হয়তো সে সামর্থ নাই। তাই সবাইকে অনুরোধ করছি, অন্তত: একটি কম্বল দান করুন, ওই মানুষগুলোর জন্য। All the people standing next to the power.
