১৯৭১ এর পরাজয়ের পরে ক্ষমতা নিয়ে এক পাবলিক মিটিং এ জুলফিকার আলী ভুট্টো বাংলাদেশে ও বাঙ্গালী সম্পর্কে জঘণ্য মন্তব্য করেণ।বাঙ্গালীদেরকে তিনি শুয়োরের বাচ্চা বলে অভিহিত করেণ! ভাষণের এক পর্যায়ে তিনি বাংলাদেশ সম্পর্কে জনতার মতামত জানতে চান। তিনি কিছু মুসলিম দেশের নাম উল্লেখ করে বলেন, ”আমরা সব মুসলমান জাতির সাথে সম্পর্ক রাখতে চাই, যেসব মুসলিম অখণ্ড পাকিস্থান রক্ষায় আমাদের সাথে সংগ্রাম করেছে এবং যারা মুসলিমই থাকবে তাদের সাথেও সম্পর্ক রাখতে চাই। কিন্তু ওদের (বাংগালীদের) বিষয়ে তোমাদের মতামত চাই; তোমরা না চাইলে, ওরা (বাংলাদেশীরা) জাহান্নামে যাক”।এ সময় জনতা চীৎকার করে ‘না, না, না -বোধক’ কথা বললে ভুট্টো বলে, “তোমাদের ‘না’ কে মঞ্জুর করা হলো। আমরা ওদেরকে চাই না। তারা ( বাঙ্গালীরা) জাহান্নামে যাক। জাহান্নামে যাও শুয়োরের বাচ্চা, জাহান্নামে যাও শুয়োরের বাচ্চা!” পুরো ইংলিশ সাবটাইটেল আমি নিচে তুলে দিলাম আর ভিডিওটি দেওয়া হল। Egypt, Syria, Iraq, Lebanon, Morocco, Algeria, we want good relations with all Muslims, then with those whom we lived in one country, who struggled with us for one Pakistan who are Muslims and will remain Muslims, I want to ask you, you decide what kind of relations do you want with them ?
