It may be the sub standard knowledge/attitude of some of your reporters. If some one loses life after falling in a Pothole, it is drawing the attention of your reporters and your channels are very crazy in telecasting the same with flash news repeatedly for every five minutes for more than 24 hours, but the measures taken by citizens to prevent such accidents is not drawn any attention of your staff. What is the use of telecasting long debates and lengthy stories in your channels about bad roads where as the problem can be solved just by questioning GHMC about its transparency and utilization of 30 trucks of material daily for filling the potholes. మీరు మా గురించి ప్రసారము చేయండి అని మేము అడగటం లేదు. ప్రజా శ్రేయస్సు కొరకు ప్రాకులాడే మీరు, ప్రజలకు ప్రయోజనకరమైన ఒక ప్రశ్న GHMC వారిని/మన ప్రభుత్వాన్ని ముక్త కంఠము తో ప్రశ్నించాలని మాత్రమే మా తాపత్రయము, ఈ ప్రయత్నమూ. మేము కోరుకొనేదీ, మీ నుండి ఆశించేదీ. We questioned GHMC Commissioner officially through our NGO , Shramadaan. That is the reason, our Hyderabad roads are comparatively better now. There will be much more improvement and we can see Pothole-free roads in Hyderabad if you all ( TV Channels) join together and raise the voice on behalf of citizens and question our GHMC Commissioner / Govt. ఇప్పుడైనా ఒకే ఒక ప్రశ్నGHMC ని సూటిగా వేయటానికి మీరు అందరు కలిసి ముందుకు వస్తే మన రోడ్డులను గుంతలు లేని రోడ్డులుగా చేయ వచ్చు. కోట్ల రూపాయలు ఆదా కూడా చేయ వచ్చు. Before questioning GHMC, please see the following information: GHMC utilizing 5 nos. Road Doctor machines . Each machine fills 20 potholes daily on average. All these 5 machines can fill 100 potholes in one day. In a month if these machines are working for 20 days , 2000 major potholes can be filled in every month. The totally damaged roads and long patches of damaged roads are separately attended through contracts by calling tenders. ( R&B roads, Secunderabad Cantonment area roads, panchayat roads, industrial area roads are not included and those roads are not concerned / maintained by GHMC) Now the question is: In addition to above all, Daily GHMC is utilizing 25-30 trucks of BT material to fill the potholes in our City. During festivals of Ganesh Chaturdhi, Batkamma, Dasara , Ranzaan etc, ... 40 to 50 trucks of material is moving from Depot to fill the potholes in our city. Then why the potholes are still visible on our city roads..? Why the GHMC is not prepared to publish in local news papers or post the information in web about the daily movement of these 30 trucks of material and 5 Road Doctor Machines to prevent misusing of material..?? Why the abnormal delay in bringing out the maintenance of all roads within the city under the control of GHMC..?
