“ දැයම අවදී කල අපේ කාලයේ අපේ හාමුදුරුවෝ “ https://facebook/GGnanasaraTherOfficial Making the 27th of September 2014 a historic day of the bilateral cultural relationships between Sri Lanka and Burma, Venerable Ashin Wirathu thero, a well-known Buddhist Monk of the Burma and all over the world, arrived in Sri Lanka, a little while ago. Ven. Wirathus main intention would be to attend the general Sangha Convention organized by Bodu Bala Sena, tomorrow, the 28th. Certain extremist groups, attempted to impede the arrival, for instance the Sri Lanka Muslim Council, wrote H.E president claiming Venerable Wirathu, a butcher of Muslims, and he should not be endorsed in Sri Lanka. BBS was shocked by this move, how such a minority group is empowered to avoid landing of Buddhist delegate and leader in a country where the great majority is Buddhists . Ven, Galagodaaththe Gnanasara, general secretary, Ven, Witharandeniye Nanda, National Organizer, Dr. Dilantha Withanage, CEO, Dr. Chamila Liyanage, Head (Education and Research) and organizer Mr. K.P Gunawardhana were among the BBS officials who were seen in the Colombo international airport to receive Ven. Wirathu and other delegates from Burma.
