☆♪ღ♪☆CHARMING¸.•´CAREFREE.•´ROCKY JACKSON☆♪ღ♪☆ ***STAFF FAVORITE!!!! GOOD WITH OTHER DOGS! HAPPY, PLAYFUL, PRANCER EVEN WITH BEING IN PAIN!!****Rocky Jackson was beat up at the dog park! Rocky’s owner then had to surrender him to BACC because she could not afford medical care for his injuries. Rocky sustained a wound to his left eye, and some lacerations to his leg and face. His wounds are healing, and his eye looks much better, but he will still need some follow up vet care. Rocky is a handsome guy, and despite his injuries, is very social! He prances and wiggles right up to the front of the cage when you call him over! He really enjoys playing outside in our yard, and loves toys! Rocky did display some resource guarding during his SAFER, and his new family should be prepared to manage this behavior if exhibited in the home. Because Rocky sustained injuries from another dog with an unknown vaccination history, he will require a modified six month quarantine. Rocky does not need to be quarantined at a vet’s office and can live in a home, but his foster/adopter will need to be in contact with the Department of Health for a six month period. Please help Rocky Jackson find his forever family, A staff member writes: Rocky Jackson jumps up playfully for attention when approached in his kennel. He pulls hard on leash, excited to get outside. In the yard Rocky Jackson engages with toys and is treat motivated, playful with his handler and responsive. He appreciates petting and comes when called.
