Shes a delicious golden girl and when she beams up at you with her warm amber eyes and perfect pittie smile, its impossible not to smile back. Open and friendly, playful and eager, Honeys a confident lady who still likes to keep her people close by and off-leash shes my bright little shadow, falling in beside me wherever I go. Much as she enjoys the company of us humans, its other dogs that really make her helicopter tail spin and she runs to the fence to meet each and every passing pup, large or small, with a joyful wiggle butt and occasionally even a little conversation! Socializing is the name of her game and toys hold little interest but Honey does get (gently) mouthy when we snuggle or wrassle around - hey baby, Im no chew toy! While she may be a bit of a roughntumble tomboy when it comes to playtime, she certainly knows her manners and will come quickly when called, sitting on command to politely snuffle treats from my hand. Snuggling may not be her thing but Honeys still very affectionate, giving me hugs on request and throwing in a few bonus chin kisses too! A strong leash puller but responsive and easy enough to handle in harness, she enjoys sniffing around the neighborhood, greeting other dogs with a smile and prompting one burly male passerby to say thats a really cute dog! Honey is a good-hearted gal with just a few rough edges and though shed benefit from some remedial training in how to handle your human, theres no dog more motivated to please if it means getting to spend extra time with her family.
