———CALIFORNIA KING JAMES BIBLE BELIEVERS GROUPS——— ———————————DAILY DEVOTIONAL ———————————— ——————The Roots of the Laodicean Church Period—————— Part Three: The Saratoga Disbandment (A Five Minute Overview) In America in the 1700/1800s there were three Great Awakenings. The first in the 1730s and 40s which was lead by George Whitefield and John Wesley. This awakening prepared Americas leaders to find the faith and strength to secede from Britain. The second awakening was c. 1790 through to the 1840s. This awakening sealed the faith of God in American life. This was the longest American awakening to ever take place. So powerful was it, that America would eventually break away from slavery in 1865 (which the foundations of the Abolitionists were laid during this awakening). Slavery was an institution of evil that had stood since the days of Nimrod (c. 2400 BC). Thus, this second awakening changed the world from slavery to freedom! This awakening even effected the Europe and South America more swiftly. With England turning from enslaving people in 1833, and South America in 1847. And it even moved into Korea, which was also effected by the third awakening. And China and Japan saw the light of the gospel, and India, and on and on. It was no accident that God stirred the hearts of American men just before and just after the American Revolution. If not for these AMERICAN awakenings, we would surely still be one of Britains colonies, the gospel would have been weakened, and the KJB would have fallen from the hearts of Christians much faster. God, and God only, held His word and His gospel to the way, and brought these, what I would call them: Americas Worldwide Awakenings, to this earth! The third awakening was in c. 1855 through the late 1890s. Out of this awakening came the Republican Party. Lead by a repentant Christian, Abraham Lincoln. The most effective governmental group in world history for the spreading of the gospel. Its sad today, what it has chased after and fallen into. Some have related the fall of the Republican Party to the falling away in 2 Thess. 2, because it use to be so Christian. I know that it is not a fulfillment of this Thessalonian chapter, but it well relates to it. Satan and his villainous Jesuits were at work infiltrating the America front in the same way they did in Europe, as I explained in the last Daily Devotional; through the governments and the churches. Which brings us to the Saratoga Disbandment. Just as the Oxford Movement set the stage for the eventual fall of the KJB in the hearts of the British Christians, so the Saratoga Disbandment would set the stage in America for the same fate. Satan in the garden said, Yea, hath God said? This would be the sub-conscience mantra for the Oxford Movement and the Saratoga Disbandment. When we look at the next two events (Revision of the KJB in England [c. 1876] and the Niagara Creed in America [1878]), that would be the other two roots of this four root system of destruction—giving America and England the Laodicean Church Period, we will see the second statement of Satans in the Garden, Ye shall not surely die. This would be the sub-conscience mantra as England and America slip into the sin that Eve committed with her husband — she was deceived and he was tempted, and they bit the fruit and death began — the first revisions of the KJB came forth: The Revised Standard Bible from England (1881), and The American Standard from America (1901). Today, the Laodicean Church is living in Satans third statement, ye shall be as gods. Read Rev. 3:17 here, and see what God meant by it (especially, now that you know the first two roots of the Laodicean Church)... Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and KNOWEST NOT that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked. (emphasis mine of capitalization) This TODAY is what is meant by Laodicean: they — Knowest Not! They dont know that they are living in the third statement of Satan concerning their faith in the Book of books. They... KNOWEST NOT!!! If, for awhile, youve been a KJB Believer, you know what I mean! You can PLAINLY and CLEARLY explain the truth of the KJB to them, and they will NOT GET IT. For they KNOWEST NOT that they are wretched, miserable, poor, blind, and naked! They think (yet would flatly deny) that they are as gods. The church system is more and more this way. And they mock Gods most holy word, the King James Bible as the Pharisees and Saduccees mock the Lord Jesus Christ. This is TODAY, the sub-conscience mantra of the Laodicean Church — shall be as gods because they — Knowest Not. They are NOW —TODAY — truly blind! (c. 1990s-2010s) And soon they will be naked! (c. 2010s - ) You see, the word, wretched refers to the churchs DOUBT of Gods word, the KJB (c. 1880s-1910s), the word, miserable is the real STATE the church became (c. 1910s-1950s), the word, poor is the WEAK revelational state of the church today (poor to see revelations, c. 1950s-1990s). So Jesus, in Rev. 3:17, gave the PROPHETIC dissentegration of the FINAL church on the earth BEFORE His Second Coming by these FIVE words. You cant beat the Book, and its words are perfect, it is as a Written Jesus, and we can trust it, for it is the written words of our Lord God and Saviour. Now to the one minute read on the Saratoga Disbandment... 1883 Bible controversy settled in the Bible Convention at Saratoga, N. Y. The Saratoga Disbandment in America, this began in 1837 with a “problem” with American Foreign Bible Society’s view of Adoniram Judson’s bible translation the Burmese Bible (1832), Burma, the society tried to “alter” the text of this KJB translation into this language. Several attempts had been made within the society’s “educated fundamentals” to rid itself of the KJB starting mainly with an 1850 call to vote it out, but they were voted down. Then not giving up, they tried to “smuggle” into the foreign fields the a “different English text.” A fierce denominational conflict resulted with the “educated class” (the scholars” in favor of a different bible, because the KJB was not “close enough to the original autographs” and failed “to bring out the meaning of the Greek words.” (variants in the texts) Those who wanted to stick with the KJB were branded as “hell-raising troublemakers,” splitting the Society over “nonessential” matters. At a convention in Saratoga in 1883 (May), the bible society was forced to disband because of this denominational strife. —End Story The Conclusion... The Jesuits have well sown their evil seed, and in the churches worldwide there are tares that will ONLY be REMOVED from the church at the Second Coming of Christ. Jesus will thoroughly purge His threshing floor of the chaff! There wont be another awakening for America or England! The New World Order is here—The U.N.—The Communist State.
