精油萃取方式 蒸氣蒸餾法 被公認是最經濟 , 也是最主要的精油萃取法 , 有些植物在收成後就要立刻蒸餾 , 有些必須先乾燥一下。當植物在充滿蒸氣的蒸餾器中受熱 , 植物物質裡的精油成分 , 會流暢的蒸發進入蒸氣裡 ; 這些極小的化學分子 , 與蒸氣一起旅行穿越過一個導管 , 而開始冷卻 , 這個導管會通過一個冷水缸 , 使蒸氣凝縮回液態 , 精油就浮在液體中的最上方 , 或沉在最下方以方便吸出 ; 這種方法適用於不會被熱破壞構造的植物 ............ 給自己拍拍手 ^^ 翻譯越來越快 Steam Distillation This is considered the most economical method and is the main method used. Some plants have to be distilled the minute they are harvested, some have to dry a little first. When plants are heated by steam in a still, the essential oils present in the plant material are freed, evaporating into the steam. These tiny molecules travel with the steam through a pipe where they begin to cool. The pipe passes through a vat of cold water and condenses back into liquid form. The essential oil float to the top or sink to the bottom where it can be drawn off. This method is for plants that cannot be damaged by heat.
