身延山御年頭会 In the Minobu-san Kuon-ji, a happy ceremony called the Goto-e which is full of ancient rites is held grandly every year on 13th for New Year holidays. 13th is the first anniversary of the death of the Nichiren-syonin for New Year holidays. The Goto-e is an another name of the Onento-e of the New Year, in response to a Nichirens dying wish of (Showa authentic text page 1931) that priests and laymen of the same discipline of Nichiren are united, and visit this Mountain(Minobu-san) as the basis, and is a pledge of this namely the sacred Mountain, It is an auspicious event of Minobu on the most significant New Year when New Years greetings are expressed in the spirit of the dead of the saint in the Founders Temple heartily and perfect harmony, the oath of the spread and propagation pray for happiness for one year newly in this year. As for Nichiren-Shonin, this was consented to when Sanenaga Hakii told the Shonin about running benediction in the New Year and an in addition together ancestral memorial service because 13th was just the ancestral anniversary of Sanenaga Hakiis death for New Year holidays. It came to be held as if it was offered the soul of the saint congratulating it as 13th for New Year holidays equal to the first anniversary of the death, and bearing a difficulty, being superior in mercy and high virtue were remembered after a rope at the age of the Onento-e was called by taking it as the swift horse which had a bit, and the saint died and the saint was living.
