[기사] 한국국제교류재단, 중국 북경 798 문화창의산업공사와 MOU 체결 한국국제교류재단은 중국 베이징798문화창의산업유한공사와 지난 16일 베이징(北京)에서 양해각서(MOU)를 체결하고 양국 문화교류 협력 증진에 노력하기로 했습니다. (please click 더보기 for English explanation) 이번 양해각서는 8월 16∼9월7일 798예술구에서 열릴 한·중 현대미술작가 교류전을 계기로 체결됐습니다. 이번 전시는 한중 현대미술 그룹전으로서 한중 작가 12명의 29여점의 작품을 선보일 예정이며, ‘East Bridge’ 프로젝트의 첫 번째 전시라는 점에서 그 의미가 큽니다. ‘East Bridge’ 프로젝트는 동아시아 지역 내의 상호 미술교류를 통해 국가별로 상이한 미술적 목소리들의 ‘융합’이 만들어내는 미술적 역량을 관찰해보고, 이를 통해 동아시아 현대미술에 대한 대안적 담론을 모색하기위해 기획되었습니다. 양 기관은 이번 MOU체결을 통해 체계적이고 지속적인 한‧중 문화교류를 추진할 예정입니다. On August 16, the Korea Foundation and Beijing 798 Creative Industry Investment Company signed an MOU in Beijing to enhance cultural cooperation between Korea and China. This MOU was signed through the momentum provided by the Korea-China contemporary artists joint exhibition held from August 16~September 7 at the 798 Art District. This exbition shows 29 works by 12 Korean and Chinese artists as the very first exhibition of the East Bridge project. The East Bridge project, a contemporary Korean-Chinese art group, was designed to observe the cultural capability which could be created by artistic convergence among different nations through artistic exchange among East Asian countries and in doing so find alternative discourses on East Asian contemporary art.
