Job Purpose - To present a consistent brand POV to consumers informed by in-depth understanding of the brand strategy - To execute retailer profitability, by refinement of the product assortment - To drive business and market share growth through refinement of appropriate product assortments for each store grade based on consumer channel and competitor insight - Manage revenue, margins and inventory considerations in determining the depth of the directive assortment. 2. Key Responsibilities 1)Define Initial Assortment Framework (per season) - Prepares initial assortment framework based on the inventory and service level strategy for each store grade and buy budget - Passes on initial assortment framework at store grade level to Brand Merchant in the Geo 2) Define OTB (to confirm Reviews Franchise OTB in consultation with the Franchise Ops Mgr who owns the definition and signing off of OTB 3)Refine Assortment - Refines assortment and width (20% flex) based on assortment framework from in-season team - Validates IGM from target buys and adjust - Determines buy depth by store grade - Finalizes assortment based on depth and width - Finalizes pricing through alignment meeting with Brand Merchants - Prepares Margin, Revenue for Wholesale, Franchise, O&O 4)Finalize Seasonal Assortment - Adjusts buys depth based on seasonal OTB process - Finalize PC9 options (80% directive from brand merchants, 20% flex) - System input on size ratios - Support Sell-in meetings and Trade Show - 5-7 years of Buying and merchandising experience in casual/sport brands - Good knowledge of market and retail business - Analytical / planning skills and fluent English communication ability - 직함: 대리-과장급 - 학력: 대졸 이상 - Retail Merchandising 소속으로 팀원은 현 포지션 포함 총 6명의 MD(In Season, Pre Season 각 2명 포함) 로 구성됨. - 현 포지션은 Pre-Season Management 담당 Retail Merchant임 - In- Season과 Pre-Season 차이 관련해서는, Pre-Season 은 말 그대로 시즌 Start 전까지의 선 작업을 의미 하고 In- Season 은 시즌 동안의 management를 담당합니다. 일단 다음 Season의 Buying 상품이 결정, Select (바잉부서업무)되면 Pre-Season 에서는 이를 initial assortment하게 됩니다. 상품들의 buy depth와 Pricing까지 Pre-Season 에서 완료합니다. 즉 시즌 시작 전까지 모든 product의 가격과 바잉 수량이 Settle되도 록 manage 하게 됩니다. 그럼 In Season에서는 이 전체 수량을 모든 백화점 및 프랜차이즈 매장 별로 Allocation하고 시즌 동안 가격 및 물량 조정(Season Off 등)을 manage하며 최적의 영업 이익을 내는 작업을 합니다. 굳이 따지면 Pre-Season MD가 조금 더 바잉MD쪽에 가깝고 In- Season MD가 영업 MD의 개념과 조금 더 가깝다고 합니다. - 경력 중심의 영문이력서 (MS-Word) 김정은 과장 / 02-551-0440 / serena@unicosearch
