❤️UPDATE!!❤️ We saw Jen today!!! Please pray for her and her family- its been a terribly long four weeks!!! Shes doing well as far as her labs and her liver growing. She said shes having trouble sleeping because of constantly being awakened by nurses (we do that sometimes😔) and not being comfortable. She just looked very tired. Also, she has a tremor that shes hoping starts to subside a little more. It makes it hard to do things with her hands-- thats why she hasnt been on FB. Also, I cant imagine how exhausted her parents must be!? Theyre SO awesome- living over an hour away and they are by her side everyday- its so heartwarming, but I know how exhausting our week in the hospital was- I cant imagine four weeks! And Im sure Kadie is missing her mama-- please continue praying for them! I dont want to sound negative- I want you to know their needs so you can pray accordingly. Its such a wonderful time, but even wonderful things can be hard. Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Matthew 11:28 Franks appointment went well. He had a CT scan that showed his liver is almost at 100% and the blood vessels that needed to be reattached during surgery are doing great! He was finally given the go ahead to drive-- he was one happy camper with that!! December 6th we will be attending a Liver Symposium in Hershey where Frank will be speaking to members of other hospitals transplant teams and potential liver donors/ recipients. Please pray that we are able to let the love of our Savior shine through us and reach any hearts that may need to hear that day. Also, please continue praying for his return to work. His boss has been and continues to be so patient. Frank will start working from home a little more and more in the next couple weeks and hopes to go back to work one or two days a week before Christmas. He has a three hour commute each way and while I understand he needs to go back, its going to be very hard sending him out the door the first couple times. I know that our God does a much better job looking after him than I ever could, but being his wife makes it a little hard not to be there by his side to protect him. Thanks again to all the prayer warriors who were strategically placed in our life by the All Knowing King! We appreciate being able to share our ever changing prayer needs as we are strengthened by your constant prayers! xoxo
